26 Feb 09

  1. I got to use my polka-dot umbrella on the way into work this morning.
  2. Free pizza lunch in appreciation for our work on this huge project.
  3. Justin and I went for a 2 mile run and made plans for the race in March.  It felt good to move.
  4. Writing an organizing post for my site.  Research and fun.
  5. Deciding what I should do about a roadblock I’ve been facing internally regarding my organizing business.

27 Feb 09

  1. I got a box of presents from my sister!
  2. My baby blue got a much needed oil change.  Everything went smoothly and she’s a happy, happy car.
  3. I got a much needed massage.  Using money I got from my parents for my birthday, I had a girl work on my back for an hour.  She said the same thing as my chiropractor:  I need to get some work done.
  4. After returning home after my massage, I soaked for a long time in a bath to soothe away all the aching from the massage.
  5. Delicious pizza for dinner!

28 Feb 09

  1. We went running.  It wasn’t fun during the run, but it felt good afterward.
  2. We cleaned the house really well in a short amount of time.  It looks great.
  3. Dress shirts were on sale at Dillard’s for 85% off!  Really great shirts and Justin is always in need of new dress shirts.
  4. I picked up a giraffe-patterned lunch-bag-perfect bag for cheap.
  5. We stopped for our favorites at the mall cafe court:  Gyros and Cold Stone ice cream.

  1. Church was lovely.  There was a very touching good bye to the youth pastor.  I almost started to cry.
  2. Yea.  My birth control is 100% effective to date.
  3. I have a very attentative husband who takes care of me when I’m not feeling well, bringing me food, bringing me hot packs, putting on my socks, checking in on me often.  Plus, hangs up a towel rack in the bathroom.
  4. I pulled my papasan chair in front of my computer and nested in while watching NCIS–lots of blankets and pillows and things to munch on.
  5. Chocolate bars.  Leftover pizza.  Pretzels dipped in chocolate frosting.  And diet cherry 7-Up.

25 Feb 09

  1. I just scheduled an oil change for my car and a massage for myself. I cannot wait until Friday.
  2. I’m wearing my new scarf today. I’m so pretty!
  3. I went running wearing my new socks, new shoes, and new music box. It felt *so good* even though I only went a mile. And at the end, Justin showed up and we went walking a couple times around together.
  4. Good times with friends online.
  5. The bank caught a fraudlent claim before any money went missing and shut down the credit card so it won’t happen again. They’re sending me a new card.

24 Feb 09

  1. I’ve been approved to take Lean Specialist training.  If I’m going to work in corporate situations, I think I’m starting to get an idea of which direction I would like to go.
  2. Escape Pod.  Fantasticness.
  3. Thinking of posts that I could write about organizing.
  4. Yoga was lovely.  Very relaxing while also being challenging.
  5. While waiting for NCIS to buffer, I started formatting pictures to put up in a gallery on my site.  Neighborhood pictures – coming soon.

  4. And we snuggled up together watching Bones and eating delicious nachos.
  5. While getting ready for bed, I found a check from my mom in the socks she gave me for my birthday.

2/19/09
I’ve lost this day.  I know it wasn’t a bad day, but the only memories I have of it start after I got home from work.  So I remember being happy about going to yoga class.  And that’s about it.

2/20/09 – Happy Birthday to me!

  1. Instead of going in to work, I took a vacation day and stayed in bed.  I didn’t sleep in as long as I thought I might, but it was fantastic waking up slowly next to my husband, and then staying in bed while he got up and started working.  He worked from home, which was also lovely.
  2. I got presents!  From my parents and a good friend.  Everything was so great!
  3. After living in a wreck of a house for a week, I finally got around to washing all the dishes and vacuuming the floors and dusting and by the middle of the afternoon, the house look really fantastic.
  4. I got to have really lovely conversations with several members of my family.
  5. We watched the second episode of Dollhouse, Joss’ new project.  It’s very good and everybody should watch it so Fox doesn’t take it off the air and we can finally have something Whedon to watch again!

2/21/09

  1. I managed to sleep in a looooooong time and it was fantastic.
  2. Justin took me out to buy brand new running shoes as my birthday present.  I am SO EXCITED about these shoes.  I haven’t had good running shoes in a long, long time and these are awesome.  And they have pink details, which is also fabulous!
  3. And then we went out to mini-golf on the Island and it was so much fun!
  4. We had dinner out at Fudruckers, who failed to have tricked out nachos but still had wonderful hamburgers.
  5. Justin and I baked a cake and he cut up the few candles we had in the drawer so he could light 29 of them for me to blow out.

2/22/09

  1. Con Man in the Meth Lab was probably one of the greatest Bones episodes we’ve seen in a long time.  (And yes, we’re still that far behind.)
  2. Justin showed me how I could watch NCIS in order on the computer.  I’m so happy!  My headache and I spent a lot of our time together watching this.
  3. I picked up a bread mix without flour back a week ago when we were on the whole stupid diet.  And I wanted bread.  So I figured I’d see how it turned out.  Answer?  Not bad.  But odd.  Good enough for one loaf.
  4. I love Advil.
  5. We got all the laundry (except the white load that didn’t need to run) all washed, dried, and folded (except for the ironing).  It was a lot of laundry and took a lot of the afternoon and evening.  But we made it all the way through.
